The Gravitational Wave Open Science Center (GWOSC) is organizing the 7th edition of its annual open data workshop, Gravitational Wave Open Data Workshop 2024. This workshop is designed to help you get started with gravitational-wave data analysis, understand how LIGO works, and also provide hands-on tutorials which will help familiarize you with the publicly available gravitational-wave data.
Georgia Tech is organizing a study hub for the workshop, where individuals interested in attending this workshop can come together, and get live help from experts and researchers in the field.
The study hub will be held on the Georgia Tech campus, in the Gilbert Hillhouse Boggs building, on April 18, 19, and 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
You can use this form to sign up. Due to limited space availability for the study hub, we will be sending a confirmation to the individuals selected for the study hub closer to the dates of the workshop. However, note that being a part of the hub is NOT required for you to participate in the open data workshop.
The last day to sign up is April 15, 2024.
Hope to see a lot of you there!
